Kelly has over 12 years experience in the dental industry. Kelly began her career as a dental nurse on the Sunshine Coast and due to her aptitude and dedication was encouraged to study further.

While undertaking studies between the University of Adelaide and the Torrens Valley Campus Kelly graduated with a Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2004. Her role in the practice as a dental hygienist is to complement the general dentists / specialist dentists and monitor the health of the teeth, tooth cleaning and prevention of gum disease.

In keeping with our continuing education philosophy at David Cox Dental, Kelly is now one of the first hygienists in Australia to have completed laser training and accreditation. This allows her to complete the tasks of laser toothwhitening (Smart Bleach) and fissure sealants.

Kelly is very passionate about her role as a Dental Hygienist and volunteers her time in developing countries and is looking forward to many more opportunities to volunteer in under-serviced communities throughout Australia.
